Diabetic Foot Ulcer Research
What This Study Involves
This is a randomized, controlled study where participants will be assigned to either a group receiving standard care or one receiving standard care with an additional wound-healing treatment. Participants will attend weekly visits for up to 12 weeks, with follow-up appointments to confirm wound healing.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this study, participants must meet the following:

Age: 18 or older

Condition: Diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes

Wound Location: A DFU that has not healed within four weeks, located below the ankle

Other: Ability to attend weekly appointments, willingness to follow the study protocol
Exclusion Criteria
Individuals will not qualify if they:

Have other conditions affecting wound healing

Have an active infection in the target ulcer

Are currently pregnant or have certain recent treatments affecting DF
